Example Sentence
A: 彼氏(かれし)に浮気(うわき)されてたんだよね。ほんと許(ゆる)せないんだけど。
My boyfriend cheated on me. I just can’t forgive him.B: それはキレるわ。 I’d be mad too.
ウケる(ukeru)
funny
Example Sentence
A:このmemeめっちゃウケない? Isn’t this meme so funny?
B: 待(ま)ってウケる Wait, That’s so funny.
ジワる(jiwaru)
something that is subtly funny or becomes funnier over time. ジワ(jiwa) is the shortened form of ジワジワ, “gradually”.
Example Sentence
A: あのタロウがそんなこと言ったの?あの会議中(かいぎちゅう)でそれはジワるね
Did Taro say that? I can imagine that was growing on you in that meeting.
B: そうそう。みんなジワジワきて笑ってたよ
Yeah, that gradually made us laugh.
詰む(tsumu)
primarily used in gaming or problem-solving scenarios, meaning "to be stuck" or "to reach a dead end.”
Example Sentence
A: これから抜(ぬ)き打(う)ちでテストしまーす!
We’re gonna have a pop quiz shortly!
B: え、嘘(うそ)でしょ、詰(つ)んだ…
No way, seriously? I’m screwed…
